This exclusive train travels across South Africa in incredible scenery. The Blue Train and this way of travelling are already shrouded in mysticism and have become a legend. Kings and presidents have travelled in the train's luxurious compartments, and now new travellers are invited to experience extraordinary luxury. A life that seems temptingly inaccessible.

The Blue Train invites guests to 2 comfortable carriages where you can make friends over your favorite drink. The Club Car, located behind the locomotive, gives the impression of a polished, wood-paneled gentlemen's club. Guests can also enjoy afternoon tea or a glass of wine in the lounge, conveniently located in the center of the warehouse.

The Blue Train's chefs regularly refresh the menu, creating original dishes using the freshest local ingredients. From Karoo lamb, ostrich and venison to Knysna oysters and award-winning vegetables, all beautifully presented in delicate crystal or porcelain, there is something for every guest on this menu.

On board The Blue Train, luxury service comes as standard. Our friendly, highly trained staff take pride in handling every request. Late night snack? Early morning wake-up call? A blouse in urgent need of gentle care? Guests can call for a steward at any time. The train manager is also always on call.
