On both sides of the Dead Sea

During this trip with a private guide, you will see not only Jerusalem, Bethlehem, or the modern city of Tel Aviv with the historic port in Old Jaffa, but also Jordan, where you will admire Petra or the Wadi Rum desert. There will be plenty of free time for swimming in the Dead Sea.

Trip plan:

1 Arrival in Amman

2 Crusader Castle in Al Karak and Wadi Rum

After breakfast, departure towards Al Karak. Picturesquely situated on a hill overlooking the valley, it is one of the three largest castles in the region. Around it you can admire 19th-century Ottoman buildings.

In the afternoon you will drive to the valley Wadi Rum, also known as the Valley of the Moon, where a real adventure awaits you - a desert safari in 4×4 vehicles! The amazing landscape, consisting of open spaces, rust-red sand, peculiar rock formations and prehistoric petroglyphs carved in them, will certainly enchant even the most experienced travelers.

The eventful day will end in a luxurious lodge in the desert and will be crowned with a traditional Bedouin dinner.

3 Balloon flight over Wadi Rum

Early in the morning, before sunrise, you will go to the balloon launch site, from where you will be able to watch the sunrise over the desert shimmering with all shades of red.

Then you will go on a trip to a Bedouin village located in the heart of Wadi Rum. After lunch, drive to petry through the desert areas of Jordan. In the evening, we recommend a walk to the Rock City illuminated by thousands of candles.

4 Visiting Petra

Today you will visit the amazing Pink City, i.e. Petra, which was unknown to Western civilizations until 1812. You will enter the city through the majestic Siq (As-Sik) - a narrow gorge, and immediately after crossing it you will see the Pharaoh's Treasury - the flagship and most famous monument of Petra.

You will then visit a range of monuments such as royal tombs, temples, grand staircases and arched gates. You will also visit the Nabetaan tombs with intricately decorated facades and a gigantic amphitheater that originally accommodated 3 people. spectators, but later it was expanded by the Romans to accommodate up to 7. people.

In the evening you will have the opportunity to taste local cuisine. Participating in an optional trip will allow you to learn traditional culinary recipes and try various local delicacies.

5 Bathing in the Dead Sea

After breakfast, you will drive along the Royal Highway, considered a spectacular road in Jordan, towards the Dead Sea for a short rest.

In the afternoon, you have time for swimming in the Dead Sea, whose high salinity and minerals have a beneficial effect on skin, respiratory and circulatory system diseases. Due to its properties, we encourage you to take a mud bath.

6 Visiting Madaba and arriving in Jerusalem

After a leisurely breakfast, you will leave Jordan. The plan also includes two stops: at Mount Nebo, from the top of which Moses saw the promised land, and in the city Madaba, where in the basilica of St. George there is the famous "Mosaic Map". Created in the 6th century, it originally depicted the area from Palestine to Lower Egypt. A fragment showing the area from Lebanon to the Delta of Egypt has survived to this day. In the afternoon, arrival in Jerusalem.

7 Sightseeing in Jerusalem

After breakfast with a private guide at your disposal, you will drive to the Old Town and visit it Temple Mount. It is a holy place, like many others in Jerusalem, for Jews, Muslims and Christians. Once upon a time there was a great Jerusalem Temple here, today there is a Muslim Temple here Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque.

You will then visit the Western Wall, which is part of the wall that forms the western wall of the Temple Mount complex.

You can walk through the stations Way of the Cross, up to the hill of Golgotha, the site of the crucifixion. It is located in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

After these moments of reflection, you will go for a walk around the colorful Arabic bazaar located within the walls of Jerusalem. Return to the hotel.

8 Jerusalem and Bethlehem

After breakfast, you will go with your guide to... The Mount of Olives, to admire beautiful views of ancient Jerusalem, which is separated from the Eastern Mount (Temple Mount and City of David) by the Kidron Valley.

We encourage you to visit Israel Museum, which houses the oldest biblical manuscripts found at Qumran as well as rare early medieval manuscripts. Then you will go towards the Palestinian Authority and, after crossing the border, visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. It is the only Byzantine church that has survived many invasions and destructions. (Tour with a local Palestinian guide; passport required). Transfer to Tel Aviv.

9 Sightseeing in Tel Aviv

After breakfast, you will drive along the picturesque coast Tel Aviv to the historic one old jaffa, one of the oldest ports in the world. Thousands of years of history, beautiful architecture, historic churches, antique shops and galleries, and a picturesque fishing port are the greatest attractions of this place. In the afternoon, return to Tel Aviv and drive along the impressive Rothschild Boulevard, which consists of large tenement houses designed in the Bauhaus style and built in the 30s, creating the so-called White City, which was included on the UNESCO list.

10 Departure from Tel Aviv

After checking out of the hotel, you will take a private transfer to Tel Aviv airport for your return flight to Poland.
