Chobe Game Lodge

An elegant and environmentally friendly lodge that is the only one located in Chobe National Park. It was built in 1972 as the first 5-star lodge in Botswana. It became famous three years later thanks to the second marriage of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, which took place there. During a luxurious holiday on the banks of the Chobe River, you can observe wildlife and participate in both water and land expeditions. Luxury off-road safaris are organized in the mornings and afternoons, and cruises in the mornings and late afternoons. Here you can see elephants coming to the river bank, hippos resting on the lagoons, buffaloes, antelopes and giraffes feeding on the savannah, as well as various predators waiting for their opportunity, such as lions, deer and leopards. Since guests use electric cars and photovoltaic-powered boats, their trips do not impact the environment in any way. The luxurious lodge is located in a secluded place, has a viewing terrace, a cozy lounge and a private marina. Air-conditioned rooms with bathrooms are equipped with spacious terraces. The most luxurious suites have terraces with infinity pools. A 3-meter-long promenade was built along the river, where you can, for example, eat a romantic meal. You can also enjoy delicious dishes in a traditional boma by the river and on one of the terraces.
