King's Pool Wilderness Safari

King's Pool Wilderness Safari is a luxurious hotel belonging to the well-known Wilderness Safaris group, which creates facilities in unique places. It is an excellent choice for both couples going on a trip to Botswana and families with children who want to go on safari and learn about the local ecosystem. The hotel is known for its pro-ecological solutions - it obtains electricity from a photovoltaic farm. It also works with local authorities to protect wildlife in the region.

The luxurious hotel in Botswana, King's Pool Wilderness Safari, was built right next to the border of Chobe National Park in the Linyanti Reserve with an area of approx. 127 thousand ha. The location is not accidental - this is where an ecological corridor for animals was created, which provides shelter for animals migrating from Angola, Namibia, Zambia and Botswana. Thanks to its existence, it is possible to protect species such as wild lions. However, visitors most often visit King's Pool Wilderness Safari and the Linyanti Reserve to watch the elephants. This is where the world's largest herds roam the plains. The hotel has also prepared a hideout that will allow you to be as close to these majestic animals as you have never been before!

Of course, when going on a safari trip, you can also observe leopards and lions hunting game. The surrounding backwaters and wetlands are home to crocodiles and numerous birds, such as herons, razorbills and African white-tailed eagles. King's Pool Wilderness Safari is situated in the shade of ebony and species trees Diospyros mespiliformis (known in English as "jackalberry" because jackals love their fruit!).

While resting at the hotel, you can observe the lazy Linyanti River and the King's Pool Wilderness Safari lagoon, which was created in its bends. The name of the hotel refers to it - this is where the Swedish King Carl XVII Gustaf spent his honeymoon in the 70s. During your holiday in Botswana, guests will feel like members of an aristocratic family, thanks to the decor based on elegant shades of copper and sea.

Guests relax in apartments with spacious bedrooms and lounge areas leading to a large veranda from which there is a picturesque view of the lagoon and its surroundings. The common rooms are located on platforms near the water, so that you can watch live scenes from animal life while relaxing with your favorite drink in your hand.
