Leopard Hills

Leopard Hills is a modern safari camp located in the Mara Naboisho Reserve and owned by Basecamp Explorer. It is located on an area of over 200 hectares. Over fifteen years of working closely with the Maasai community, Basecamp Explorer has developed the wonderful Leopard Hills Resort and has worked to develop a financially and socially sustainable model for the conservation of this important ecosystem. The camp is located north of the Masai Mara Reserve and can be accessed from Nairobi by car or plane. The flight takes about 45 minutes and the journey by car takes about 5 hours. In 2019, Leopard Hills was recognized by Time Magazine as one of the best places to stay in the world.

Guests will find 6 uniquely designed luxury tents on site, including one for honeymooners and one for families. The architecture of each of them is inspired by the circular Maasai houses called Manyatta, which means almost 360-degree views of the surroundings. Each tent has a unique decor, and the atmosphere that brings you even closer to getting to know the Dark Continent is created by furniture and motifs of African and Indian origin. Each of them has a fireplace on a large terrace, as well as an indoor and outdoor shower.

Kenya's exclusive Leopard Hills lodge is literally located in the middle of the highest density of wildlife in the world. It offers guests the opportunity to discover the natural unspoilt beauty of the Masai Mara through a variety of activities. The most important attraction is a safari - including walking, with real safari specialists, the Maasai. After a day full of adventure in the savanna, guests can indulge in a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating massage on a private terrace or in a tent, combining an unforgettable safari experience with luxury.

The staff carefully serves guests fresh dishes prepared by qualified chefs using only fresh local products. The excellent cuisine offered on site draws on international influences, best complemented by delicious wines. Good news for guests with special dietary requirements: they can be accommodated after notifying the staff in advance.
