Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort

Bazaruto is a paradise, private island with luxurious villas perfect for a peaceful holiday. The smallest of the exclusive villas has 58 sq m, and the most comfortable Anantara Pool Villa has 310 sq m. surface. All of them (except Beach Villas) are equipped with private plunge pools. The exquisite Golfinho restaurant is located in rooms whose walls remember the times of the first Portuguese traders visiting the island. 2 other locations have beautiful sea views and specialize in barbecue, light lunches and fresh pizza.

During cooking lessons you can learn the secrets of the region's cuisine. There are 2 swimming pools: 1 for adults, 2 for families with children. In addition to resting on the wide, sandy beach, we recommend trips in 4-wheel drive vehicles and visits to nearby villages, where you can learn about the everyday life of the inhabitants. In the interior of the island there are isolated lakes where you can spot many local bird species. The area is also worth visiting during horseback riding trips.

While diving in the Bazaruto Marine National Park you can see hundreds of species, including: barracudas and sea devils. Anglers can try to catch large specimens during luxurious cruises. You can sail aboard a traditional dhow, perfect for romantic sunset trips.

The surrounding dunes are an ideal place for sandboarding. The spa has 5 treatment rooms, relaxation areas, a hydrotherapy pool and other facilities offering massages and luxurious treatments such as Rhassoul clay.
