Jabali Ridge

Jabali Ridge is a stylish camp located in a privileged location in the heart of Ruaha National Park, one of Tanzania's greatest attractions. It was built on a rocky hill with a breathtaking view of the Mwagusi River and the Ikuka slope. The savannah plains stretch to the horizon, dotted with mighty baobabs, but what attracts guests on trips to Tanzania is the opportunity to see elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, kudus, antelopes, giraffes and the endangered wild deer in the Ruaha National Park. There are also numerous prides of lions here - it is estimated that 10% of the world's population of these big cats live here. The flora and fauna are complemented by 570 species of birds.

The place where Jabali Ridge was built is not accidental. During the wet season, visitors can hear the sound of the mighty Ikuka Falls and see the Mwagusi River begin to flow after seven months of drought. During the dry season, you can observe herds of buffalo roaming the savanna and the riverbed, as well as elephants digging in the sand looking for water.

Safari trips are organized in the mornings and afternoons - this allows you to avoid the highest temperatures, but also see animals at the times when they are most active. It is also possible to rent a private vehicle and individually plan the route with a guide. However, not everything can be seen from the car, although these have open roofs and allow for unrestricted observation of the area. It is worth going on a walking tour with a guide and seeing fascinating, smaller creatures, e.g. beetles, ants and butterflies, and get up close to kudus and elephants. At night, however, other species become active - galagoids, birds from the nightjar family and nightjars. They can be seen during late evening escapades into the savannah.

Jabal Ridge also offers a real treat for photographers - safari tours are available in a specially adapted vehicle, ensuring that guests capture exactly what they want.

The luxurious suites of the Jabali Ridge Hotel are built on massive granite rocks. Guests can relax in hammocks while observing the surroundings or cool off in the infinity pool. The apartments are spacious and made of wood. Gourmets will be treated to excellent meals - all prepared entirely in the hotel, no matter whether it is a light lunch or an exquisite 3-course dinner under the starry sky.
