Papyrus Guest House is a charming property set in a beautiful garden in a residential area of ​​Entebbe, close to the airport and Lake Victoria. Thanks to its hospitality and modern comforts, it is known as an exclusive hotel where guests feel at home. Spacious rooms with bathrooms are located in the main building or in the lush garden. They are equipped with terraces where you can enjoy the equatorial climate. The restaurant is famous for home-cooked meals and freshly baked bread. The property is a perfect place to start or end a safari in the region. During your stay, it is worth booking trips, e.g. to the Mabamba Marshes, right next to Lake Victoria. There you can observe the rare shoebill in its natural environment, as well as approximately 260 species of other birds inhabiting the area. Sunset cruises on the lake are also recommended. Another attraction is the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which is home to 49 orphaned chimpanzees. The facility is managed by a non-governmental organization, Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust (CSWTC), which works with the authorities and works to educate local communities. The shelter is located on an island where there are also huge varanus and various birds. On the northern shores of the lake there is the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, where you can take a walk and learn about various species of plants and birds (115 known species) and meet gerees and tree squirrels.
