Royal Chundu Island Lodge

On the bank of a famous river, near the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, there is an exclusive lodge from which you can go to the beautiful Victoria Falls. These most famous African waterfalls are only 30 km away from the lodge, they have been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List and are also included in the list of the Seven Wonders of the World. The best way to see this amazing place is by helicopter. It is worth booking a trip to Livingstone Island, suspended over a cliff, on the edge of a waterfall.

Luxury river cruises are also available, where you can see otters, crocodiles, hippos and black kobs. Many interesting bird species also live here, e.g. the African white-tailed eagle and the grey-backed barrel hawk. You can enjoy their view during trips on unsinkable kayaks. The luxury lodge organizes trips to the communities of Mushekwa and Muluka villages, where you can learn a lot about the lives of the local people. The area is a paradise for anglers who can try to catch pharyngochromis and labeobarbus, species typical of the Zambezi. Horse riding enthusiasts can ride through teak and mopane forests on horseback.

The Lodge is surrounded by a flowing river. Only 4 exclusive villas are available, which guarantees privacy and peace. The interiors are decorated in earthy and cobalt blue colors. The villas are equipped with terraces overlooking the river. The luxurious spa offers treatments using the beneficial effects of local plants. As the therapists grew up in the area, they have excellent knowledge of the healing properties of the local flora.
