Amalinda Lodge

The Matobo Hills are a place that has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List due to their indescribable beauty. They are located in the oldest and smallest national park in Zimbabwe, and you can get to them extremely easily during a luxurious vacation in a lodge situated in a quiet area full of wildlife and birdsong. Both black and white rhinos can be found nearby. Experienced guides will share their knowledge and help you find these beautiful animals. Guests can move freely throughout the entire property of the luxurious lodge.

Within it you can see warthogs, zebras, rock goats, kudu, impalas, wildebeests, ridboks, duikers, antelopes, hyraxes and an incalculable number of bird species. By going to the hills where nomadic peoples once celebrated their sacred ceremonies, you can see, among others: the famous grave of British politician Cecil John Rhodes. This place is famous for its extraordinary sunsets and sunrises. It is worth going on bicycle trips to nearby villages, seeing interesting rural buildings and learning a bit about the life of the inhabitants. The local Matabele people are extremely hospitable.

You can visit a traditional healer or see how the local primary school operates. The rooms resemble ancient Bushmen shelters. You can also rent a private villa, which is perfect for a luxurious family holiday combined with a safari. In the exclusive lodge, guests enjoy exquisite cuisine served at Captain's Table. However, it is also possible to organize private meals, e.g. under the starry African sky. The spa offers rejuvenation with a selection of treatments using local oils. You will be able to relax while enjoying the scents typical of the surrounding nature.
