Belmond Hiram Bingham

Peru

The train, named after the American archaeologist who discovered the Inca citadel for the Western world, stands out against the green landscape of Peru with its blue and gold details. Inside the 30s-style Pullman carriages, guests immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a bygone world recreated in shiny, polished wood, beautiful fabrics and antique furnishings. Here, elegance and old-fashioned charm are the most important things. So it's time to sit back and let the crew take care of your comfort and unique experiences during the expedition in the footsteps of the Incas.

The Belmond Hiram Bingham train consists of four luxury cars, an observation car, two dining cars and a bar car. Each of the four carriages is precisely and stylishly finished with polished wood and brass, offering travelers spacious, comfortable seats and plenty of space. At the rear of the train is an open observation car from which you can fully appreciate the stunning Peruvian landscape. This wagon is finished with dark wood and polished brass details. There are large sofas with cushions, making it the perfect place to relax and admire the scenery opening up around the train. Two dining cars offer 42 seats each, with tables covered with sparkling crystals and polished cutlery. In the morning, on the way to Machu Picchu, guests are served a three-course brunch. In the evening, during the return journey from Machu Picchu, a four-course dinner is served accompanied by Pisco Sour and Peruvian delicacies. The bar car is the perfect place to enjoy a Pisco Sour while listening to Peruvian music.
