Bamurru Plains

A unique, luxurious lodge that boasts its location in the famous Top End region, the northernmost area of ​​Australia. It is dominated by coastal flood plains, home to the world's largest population of crocodiles and 236 species of birds. The luxurious lodge has exclusive access to 300 sq m. these plains, as well as to the savannahs nearby. Only 20 guests stay here at any one time.

They can observe, among others: Australian woodpeckers, egrets, ibises and finless birds that migrate annually. Floodplains can be explored in propeller-driven skimmers, and savannahs can be explored on hikes and expeditions in 4WD open-terrain vehicles. The exclusive safari will allow you to see brumbies, dingoes, red-necked kangaroos and buffalos. It's also a great fishing destination as the Top End is one of the places where you can catch some delicious barramundi (Lates calcarifer). In Kakadu National Park you can also learn about the rock art and culture of the Aboriginal people who have lived here for centuries.

The trips will allow you to learn about, among others: ways of using local flora and fauna in everyday life. The lodge also has a platform with an area of 24 sq m, which is located in the treetop at a height of 6 m, allows you to look in every direction and admire the picturesque flood plains around the Mary River.

Guests have safari-style bungalows at their disposal, offering stunning views of the surrounding area through nets installed on three sides instead of walls. The lack of Wi-Fi signal and mobile phone coverage favors silence. Guests can also enjoy typical dishes prepared in the Australian bush.
