Wonderful antipodes

Australia and New Zealand - located literally at the other end of the world - are a traveler's dream. The different nature, with marsupials dominating the animals and eucalyptus and tree ferns among the trees, creates an extraordinary atmosphere. The traditional culture of Aborigines and Maoris - as well as the vibrant colonial cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland - are also different. Under the care of our guides, guests will have the opportunity to discover this corner of the world in luxurious conditions.

Trip plan:

1 Arrive in Sydney

Upon arrival at Sydney Airport, guests will meet their driver and go to the luxury hotel. Sydney is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, offering stunning views of Port Jackson Bay, golden beaches, great restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. Guests will stay in Sydney for 3 nights.

2 Sydney

Today, guests can enjoy a guided tour of Sydney. They will drive through the historic district of The Rocks, visit the first church in Australia, the Astronomical Observatory and houses built by convicts who came to Australia. They will also visit the Circular Quay marina, which is located in the very center of the city, right next to the opera house and the Botanical Garden. They will walk to Mrs Macquarie's Chair - from where it is located, you can admire wonderful views of the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Opera House.

3 Sydney – Blue Mountains – Sydney

The Blue Mountains offer breathtaking landscapes and dozens of trekking routes. Today, guests will see the first church in Australia, and then stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park, where they will meet kangaroos, koalas and wombats. They will drive west to the Blue Mountains National Park and then west to the Kings Tableland, which overlooks the Grose Valley. After lunch in Leura, guests will go on a 2-hour trek to the famous Three Sisters rock formation, and admire the local nature along the way.

4 Sydney – Cairns – Port Douglas

Transfer to Sydney airport and flight to Cairns (3 hours 15 minutes). From Cairns, transfer to the tropical holiday resort of Port Douglas. Overnight stay at the luxurious 5-star Silky Oaks Lodge hotel, located in Mossman, approx. 20 minutes' drive from Port Douglas.

5 Port Douglas – diving on the Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is a unique natural wonder, and immersing yourself in its waters is like penetrating the depths of a kaleidoscope. Guests will set sail to explore this underwater world on board the Aquarius catamaran. Near the Low Isles, tropical islands on the Great Barrier Reef, they will have the opportunity to snorkel among green sea turtles, parrotfish and other marine creatures. During lunch, a meal of exotic fruits and fresh seafood will be served on board the catamaran. Guests will also take a guided walk around the island to learn about its history and environment. Return to the luxurious Silky Oats Lodge.

6 Port Douglas – full-day tour of Daintree Forest

Guests will travel to the Daintree National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where they will take a cruise on the Daintree River. The picturesque cruise will lead near the banks of the river and just under the green canopy of the rainforest. Participants will look out for colorful butterflies, kingfishers and other animal species - you can even spot crocodiles here.

7 Port Douglas – Cairns – Ayers Rock / Uluru

The driver will transport guests to Cairns Airport. Flight to Ayers Rock in central Australia (direct or via Alice Springs). Here you can admire vast, mostly desert and semi-desert areas, called the Outback. There are many amazing rock formations here, and one of the biggest attractions is admiring the night sky illuminated by millions of stars. This very dry area is home to rare species of animals, birds and reptiles. Wallabies, dingoes, emus, geckos and giant eagles are just some of the inhabitants that can be found here. Participants will stay at the luxurious Longitude 131° hotel.

8 Ayers Rock

Guests will go on an exciting trip in 4-wheel drive cars to feel the true spirit of Australia. The rest will be able to take a walk around the area with a guide.

9 Ayers Rock – Adelaide

Transfer to Ayers Rock Airport and flight to Adelaide in the southern part of Australia. Adelaide is a cosmopolitan city, known for its museums, art galleries and great wine.

10 Adelaide – Kangaroo Island – Adelaide

Kangaroo Island is Australia's 3rd largest island, a treat for all nature lovers. Departure from the luxury hotel at 6.45am, transfer to Cape Jervis Ferry Terminal, then 45-minute ferry to Penneshaw. Guests will visit the Bay of Seals and go for a walk on the beach, just a few meters from the sea lions resting on the sand. A two-course lunch will be served at Vivonne Bay Bistro. After lunch, participants will visit the nature reserve at Hanson Bay, where they will be able to see koalas. They will spend the afternoon in Flinders Chase National Park and see its most famous parts, i.e. two natural rock formations - Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Return to your luxury hotel in Adelaide in the evening.

11 Adelaide – Melbourne

Transfer to Adelaide airport and flight to Melbourne. Melbourne, the 2nd largest city in Australia, is known for its magnificent XNUMXth century buildings and tree-lined boulevards. In the center of Melbourne there is a modern Federation Square with numerous bars, restaurants and cultural events taking place here. In the suburbs, it is worth visiting the Melbourne Arts Precinct, where there are many galleries presenting Australian and indigenous art.

12 Melbourne

Guests will be able to visit some of Melbourne's best dining options. It is worth going shopping to Queen Victoria Market. In the afternoon you can go to the place 1,5 hours away. road from the town of Phillip Island, where after sunset one of the most famous spectacles in all of Australia takes place - the so-called Penguin parade.

13 Melbourne – Queenstown (New Zealand)

Flight to Queenstown, a city called New Zealand's Adventure Capital because it offers a rich selection of active recreation. In winter, it is a mecca for skiers and snowboarders from New Zealand and Australia, and in summer, adventure seekers and extreme thrill seekers from all over the world come here. You can try paragliding, jet boat rides and bungee jumping, among others. Queenstown is situated on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and surrounded by majestic mountains. There are many great restaurants and shops here.

14 Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown

In the morning, guests will enjoy a scenic flight from Queenstown to Milford Sound, during which they will be able to admire the vastness of New Zealand's truly alpine scenery. After arriving at Milford Sound, they will go on a cruise (1 hour 40 minutes) on a modern, luxurious boat. They will see vast fjords, powerful waterfalls, as well as dolphins and penguins. Return to your luxury hotel in Queenstown in the afternoon.

15 Queenstown – Fox Glacier

Guests will drive to Fox Glacier in a rental car. The 370-kilometer route will take approximately 5,5 hours, and there will be stops in the most picturesque places, including: a walk to the beautiful blue lakes near Makarora, or the Twin Falls waterfall, located just before the Haast Pass. After reaching Fox Glacier, guests will be able to trek towards the glacier.

16 Fox Glacier

The towns of Fox Glacier and Franz Josef, located on the forested slopes of the Southern Alps, have excellent tourist infrastructure, which includes comfortable hotels, numerous cafes and shops. Glacier expeditions are organized by local companies offering guided trekking and helicopter flights. We recommend seeing Lake Matheson, whose mirror surface reflects the snow-capped peaks of Mount Cook and Mount Tasman. A lesser-known attraction is Gillespie Beach, approximately 25 km away from the hotel, with an old mining tunnel nearby. Please check the high and low tide times before visiting Gillespie Beach.

17 Fox Glacier – Punakaiki

The west coast is one of the least populated parts of the country, with few towns in the 600-kilometer stretch between Karamea and Jackson Bay. However, it is a visually beautiful area, rich in forests and picturesque beaches. Guests will go to Punakaiki. The 240-kilometer route will take approximately 3,5 hours. Along the way, participants will stop for a picnic at Lake Ianthe. They will also visit a colony of great egrets near Whataroa. They will stop in Hokitika, where they can have a coffee and then visit a local museum. Hokitika is famous for jade mining and the gold rush that took place here in the 1860s-80s.

18 Pancake Rocks – Nelson/Abel Tasman

The road leading along the west coast of New Zealand is one of the most picturesque in the world. Guests will cover the 265-kilometer route in approximately 4 hours. They will drive along the limestone cliffs of Paparoa National Park, home to the world's smallest penguin. They'll stop along the way for an underground rafting trip in Charleston or a caving expedition in Fox River. They will also visit the famous Pancake Rocks in Punakaiki. Highway 6 runs north through the extraordinary Buller Gorge, where a photo stop is planned. Guests will then continue on to Lyell. There is an observation deck here.

19 Tasman

The Tasman is a beautiful region home to New Zealand's smallest national park, Abel Tasman National Park. Golden beaches and blue waters stretch from Kaiteriteri to Collingwood on Golden Bay. Guests will have the opportunity to walk along one of the trails in the national park. They will visit the nearby town of Marahau and then drive to the beach in Kaiteriteri, a popular holiday destination in this part of New Zealand.

20 Tasman – Napier

Guests will leave their rental car at Nelson Airport for a flight to Napier in the Hawke's Bay region of the North Island. Hawke's Bay is an agricultural region in New Zealand, famous for its wine growing. It has a climate similar to the Mediterranean or California, thanks to which it produces wines from various varieties that are appreciated all over the world. There are also many excellent cycling routes here.

21 Napier – Lake Taupo – Rotorua

Today, guests will cover a 220-kilometer route to the heart of the North Island, and they will be able to see stunning landscapes along the way. Lake Taupo lies on a volcanic plateau and between Taupo and Rotorua there are many famous thermal hotspots such as Orakei Korako, Wai-O-Tapu and Waimangu Valley. In the afternoon, guests will reach Rotorua, the center of Maori culture.

22 Rotorua

Participants will have a day full of attractions in Rotorua today. They will be able to visit volcanic areas, thermal baths near the city, go to a traditional Maori hangi concert or go on a boat cruise. Depending on the package purchased, guests will take part in a picturesque flight over Rotorua and the Tarawera volcano or an unforgettable air safari to White Island. For the rest of the afternoon, they can soak in one of the hot springs or relax with a massage. For guests who prefer outdoor activities, we recommend kayaking, mountain biking, zorbing, jet boat rides and even parachuting. We also recommend a trip to a traditional Maori village.

23 Rotorua – Waitomo – Coromandel

Today, the guests will cover a 353-kilometer route. The first stop will be the Waitomo Caves. Participants will then drive through the countryside stretching between Arapuni and Te Awamutu. In Otorohanga they will visit a park where they can admire kiwi birds, and then continue towards the Coromandel Peninsula.

24 Coromandel Peninsula

It's time to completely relax. Guests will be able to enjoy a picnic lunch on one of the beautiful beaches. There are thermal springs under Hot Water Beach - you can build your own spa here. Also worth visiting are the beaches: Hahei, Cathedral Cove and Cooks Beach. From the latter you can drive to the port, where it is worth leaving your car and taking a short ferry ride to Whitianga, which offers many cafes and shops.

25 Departure from Auckland

Depending on the time of departure to the country, guests will still have some time to relax before their journey. You can also extend your stay in another place.
