Golf in New Zealand

Trip plan:

1 Bay Of Islands, The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs

Arrival in Auckland, internal flight to Kerikeri (flight costs not included)

After arriving at Auckland International Airport, after completing all formalities and collecting your luggage, after passing through check-in in the arrivals hall, a representative of Luxury Travel will be waiting with a sign with your name. Transfer by private car to the internal flights terminal.

Upon arrival in Kerikeri, private transfer to your hotel. (about 30 minutes)

The Kinloch Club was designed by Jack Nicklaus. Often compared to standard Links in Scotland or Ireland. The world-class par 72 course has panoramic views of Lake Taupo, New Zealand's largest freshwater lake, and rural agricultural landscapes. In 2014 it was voted New Zealand's best course by professionals. In the ranking of courses outside the United States, Golf Digest Magazine ranked it No. 76 in the world. Kinloch was recognized by US Travel and Leisure golf magazine as one of the top 10 new golf courses in the world (the only one on this prestigious list from outside North America!).

6 Wairakei/Hawke's Bay

After breakfast, private transfer to Wairakei for a round of golf.

Officially opened in 1970, the golf course is set in 180ha of natural landscapes. Designed to rigorous standards that meet the requirements of the World Class Championship.

The architect of the field was John Harris, a leading English architect whose family was involved in the construction of, among others, Moor Park, Wentworth and Sunningdale.

Together with the Englishman Michael Wolveridge and the Australian Peter Thomson (five-time winner of the British Open), they created a course recognized all over the world, undoubtedly one of the best in NZ.

A course designed by the legendary Tom Doak. Par 71 measures 6510 meters. According to Golf Magazine, the course is considered the 33rd in the world. The clubhouse has the highest quality Pro Shop, fully equipped changing rooms. The field allows you to order small lunch boxes between nines, and the clubhouse offers a full lunch menu.

In the afternoon, birdwatching - Kiwi - Cape Kidnappers is a sanctuary of this endangered species, there are as many as 5 types of them there. Part of the fee goes towards Cape Kidnappers Sanctuary in maintaining the reserve. (attraction lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes)

8 Napier - Queenstown

Transfer to Napier Airport.

Flight to Queenstown (not included).

Private transfer to Eichardts Private Hotel where you will stay for 3 nights. (about 20 minutes away)

9 Jacks Point

One of the most spectacular golf courses in the world, views of the mountains and the lake, varied conditions on each of the 18 holes. John Darby is the architect of the course and it was designed to meet the requirements of both the most demanding players and beginners.

10 The Hills

11 Return to the country
