The islands are the homeland of the ancient Maori people, whose culture adds color to the community of European settlers. Huka Lodge

A property from the 18s, decorated in a hunting style, located in a well-kept park, in a charming corner on the Waikato River in the central part of the island, right next to the waterfalls. There are XNUMX luxurious rooms, an apartment and two detached houses with several apartments each. The local wine cellar houses a large collection of the best wines.

Treetops Lodge

A house with four apartments, a spacious living room and kitchen, and eight large, comfortable villas, located in an idyllic area that played the role of the beautiful, green land of hobbits in the movie "The Lord of the Rings". A perfect area for hiking and close contact with nature. The center was built high in the forest, beautifully exposing the unforgettable view above the treetops.

Takatu Lodge & Vineyards

An authentic seaside vineyard on beautiful Lake Matakana welcomes guests to four modern, luxurious apartments. The white and red wines produced here are a perfect addition to exquisite dishes, and the huge space surrounding this place provides many opportunities to spend time actively, from playing golf, through horse riding, to sightseeing cruises.

Wharekauhau

A charming sheep farm, modeled on former estates. Cozy interiors heated by fireplaces exude a charming, slightly old-fashioned atmosphere of refined elegance. Guests have at their disposal apartments in the main house, ten terraced houses located slightly off the beaten track, and two secluded, picturesquely located, independent family houses. This place provides complete privacy, peace and quiet and a wonderful view of the ocean.

If you would also like to see the mountainous South Island, it is best to go to New Zealand for three weeks and spend one of them staying at the foot of the Southern Alps - at Grasmere Lodge or Blanket Bay.

Grasmere Lodge

A mid-13th century farm lost among the forests at the foot of high hills. There are a total of 24 rooms for XNUMX people, who can stay in the main building of the farm, in a house by the river or in a mountain hut.

Blanket Bay

A large, cozy house in a pristine mountain landscape, extremely quiet and full of comforts. Bright, spacious apartments with a view of two nearby national parks, which, due to their exceptional beauty, were also chosen for the film set of "The Lord of the Rings".
