The Philippines is an island country consisting of approximately 7100 islands. Located in Southeast Asia. There are three seasons in the Philippines: Taginit - the local summer, the hottest time of the year (March to May), Tagulan - the rainy season (June-November) and Tag Lamig - the cold "winter" (December-February). The best time to visit the Philippines is from late autumn to spring - from November to April.

It is the only country in Asia where the main religion is Christianity, so instead of temples of Hinduism, Buddhism or Islam, you can admire churches there, often with centuries of history and tradition.
