Amanpulo

The exclusive hotel on Pamalican Island is only accessible by private plane. Located on a white beach with fine sand, 5,5 km long, with a jungle in the background. It invites water sports enthusiasts and offers a wide selection of equipment for practicing them. Snorkeling enthusiasts have the opportunity to explore the surrounding waters and go on a pontoon boat trip organized twice a day. Sea turtles can be seen on a kayak or paddleboard trip. From December to April, thanks to gentle breezes, there are ideal conditions for windsurfing and kitesurfing. There is a diving center at guests' disposal, which will make it easier to view the 2 square kilometers of coral reef starting 7 m from the shore. The hotel also provides a wide selection of boats for rent and encourages visitors to visit the nearby island of Palawan. It is worth using the free bicycles to tour the island and admire its beautiful landscape. Villas and casitas (traditional cottages) are located by the beach and on the hill.

They were designed by the famous Filipino architect Francisco Manosa in the traditional local style. Some have private pools. In the eastern part of the island there is the Nama restaurant, which serves Japanese washoku cuisine (recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage). Although simple, it perfectly combines all flavors. The dishes include fruit and vegetables from the hotel's ecological garden, seafood provided by fishermen and products imported from Japan. Other restaurants specialize in, among others: in freshly caught fish. For evening relaxation at sunset, the thatched-roof Kawayan Bar, which floats on the water, is best. The luxury hotel's spa won the Philippines' Best Resort Spa in 2016 award. This idyllic wellness center is located on a hill in buildings made of local wood. Among various treatments, we recommend the Hilot massage based on Filipino healing traditions.
