The main attractions of India and Goa

India full of colors, smells and flavors. An extraordinary and joyful India invites travelers for a two-week, luxurious trip, during which our guides will show the guests the most important and famous monuments, and finally provide them with a few days of rest in Goa on the Indian Ocean. Guests will visit temples, mausoleums and forts that are permanent monuments to the extremely rich history of this amazing country.

Trip plan:

1 New Delhi

Guests will arrive in New Delhi in the morning. The capital of India is a city with thousands of years of history, full of contrasts, where antiquity mixes with modernity. After a short organizational meeting, guests will be transferred to the hotel. They will spend the rest of the day resting after the journey, and in the evening they will take part in a Bollywood show at Kingdom of Dreams - the Indian equivalent of the American Broadway. Overnight stay at a hotel.

2 Delhi

On this day, guests will visit Delhi. In the old part, they will see the bustling Chandni Chowk bazaar, visit the Red Fort built in 1648 from red sandstone, and take a rickshaw through narrow alleys to the spice market. Then they will go to the largest and most impressive mosque in India - Jama Masjid (Great Mosque), and see the Raj Ghat - a monument in honor of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. After lunch, guests will visit the most important places in New Delhi: the Qutub Minar, the Parliament, the India Gate and the Presidential Palace.

3 Delhi – Varanasi

In the morning, guests will be transferred to the airport, from where they will fly to Varanasi (formerly Benares). Upon arrival at the hotel, they will have free time to relax.

4 Varanasi

Before sunrise, guests will go to the ghat area - the famous series of stairs leading down to the Ganges. During a boat cruise at sunrise, they will witness prayers and ritual cleansing of bad karma performed by Hindus in this place. They will then walk through the narrow streets and visit numerous Hindu temples before returning to the hotel for breakfast and spending the rest of the morning resting. After lunch, they will go on a short trip to Sarnath, where the Buddha delivered his first sermon. There is a unique institute here, founded by the Dalai Lama in 1971, which houses an unprecedented collection of Buddhist texts, Tibetan manuscripts and diaries. In the evening, on the bank of the Ganges, guests will see a fascinating Aarti ritual dedicated to the holy river.

5 Varanasi – Khajuraho

In the morning, guests will be transferred to the airport and flown to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, they will spend the afternoon and evening relaxing at the hotel.

6 Khajuraho – Jhansi

Guests will start the day by visiting the temples in Khajuraho, built between 950 and 1050 AD, considered the pinnacle of the genius of medieval architects. According to legend, the complex originally included 85 temples, of which 22 have survived to this day. In the afternoon, guests will take the Shatabdi Express train to Agra. Overnight stay at a hotel in Agra.

7 Agra

On this day, guests will visit one of the seven wonders of the world - the Taj Mahal, India mausoleum built by Shah Jahan of the Mughal dynasty for his prematurely deceased, beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Then they will go to the Red Fort in Agra, a true architectural masterpiece. Free time in the afternoon.

8 Agra – Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

In the morning, the guests will go to Jaipur, and on the way they will visit Fatehpur Sikri (City of Victory), an architectural complex with many historic buildings, including: Grand Mosque (Jama Masjid) and Victory Gate (Buland Darwaza). Upon arrival in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan known as the Pink City, guests will check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing. Overnight stay at a hotel.

9 Jaipur

After an early breakfast, guests will visit Fort Amber. They will have a unique opportunity to travel in both directions to the hill on which the fort is located on the back of an elephant. They will also visit Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. In the afternoon, guests will go to the City Palace, the main residence of the royal family, then to Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built of red sandstone, and to the nearby bazaar.

10 Jaipur − Mumbai − Goa

In the morning, guests will be transferred to the airport, from where they will fly to Mumbai and then to Goa, the smallest and richest state in India. Overnight stay at a hotel.

11 - 14 Goa

During these days, guests will relax on the pristine beaches of Goa.

15 Goa

Transfer to the airport and back to the country.
