Rajasthan and TAJ palaces

From Delhi to Agra and then through Rajasthan to Goa - a luxurious trip along the less traveled trails of India will allow you to visit some of the most famous places of the subcontinent - such as the Taj Mahal, but also less known, yet wonderful places - the pink and blue cities - Jaipur and Jodphur, or also the city of lakes Udaipur with one of the most extraordinary hotels on the island. The 18-day trip also includes a few days of relaxation on the beaches of Goa.

Trip plan:

1 Delhi

At the Delhi airport, guests will be welcomed with flowers by a private guide and driver. Transfer to the Taj Palace, an excellent hotel in the city center. After breakfast and a short rest, guests will set off to explore the capital of India. They will see, among other things, the old city and the impressive Red Fort dating from the Mughal times. Then a visit to Raj Ghat, where the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi is located - the most important figure of modern India - and where his body was cremated in 1948. It is worth taking a rickshaw (tuk-tuk) ride through the narrow streets of the old city. Contrary to appearances, it is an extreme experience - you will feel it when you pass other vehicles at a distance of 15 cm. The last point of visiting the old city will be the largest mosque in India - Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), which can accommodate up to 25 people. In the evening, we invite you to a light and sound show at the Red Fort.

2 New Delhi

Another day of exploring an extraordinary city with a population of 19 million people. Today, a new part of Delhi: the Presidential Palace, the India Gate and the Parliament, the Gallery of Modern Art, Connaught Place - one of the busiest places in the city, where all its most important streets meet. Guests will also visit the National Museum, wonderfully presenting the cultural and historical cross-section of the entire South Asia. Those interested will be able to see the collections of the Tibet Museum. In the afternoon, a walk around the Lodi Gardens and a visit to Humayun's mausoleum, which was the prototype of the Taj Mahal. Delhi is a city of many religions, so guests will visit numerous mosques, Sikh, Hindu and Buddhist temples. All these cultures and religions - so different from each other - have coexisted here for centuries without major conflicts. 3 New Delhi – Agra

After breakfast, transfer with a private driver from Delhi to Agra. After reaching the city, you will be accommodated in a luxurious 5* hotel, in an apartment overlooking the Taj Mahal. In the afternoon, a visit to the most famous place in India - the Taj Mahal, which is called the temple of love and is considered one of the seven wonders of the world. In the evening, a romantic candlelight dinner with a view of this extraordinary monument of love.

4 Agra – Jaipur

After breakfast, guests will visit the fort in Agra, which is even more impressive than the one in Delhi. Then transfer with a private driver to Jaipur - the Pink City. Guests will stay at the Rambagh Palace Hotel, where everyone is welcomed like a real maharaja! It is a beautiful palace whose interior alone amazes. This day is intended for rest, and in the evening we invite you to a dance show and dinner at the hotel.

5 Jaipur

The day will start with a tour of the city and its most important monuments: HawaMahal, i.e. the Palace of Winds, and the 30th century astronomical observatory - with a sundial almost XNUMX m high. Jaipur is also an ideal place for shopping - it is worth buying beautiful jewelry with minerals Indian, elegant pashminas or wooden figurines of various gods. An alternative is to watch a polo match on elephants.

6 Jaipur

On this day, we plan to visit one of the most famous forts in India - Amber Fort in Jaipur. It is a marvel of Rajasthani architecture, approximately 11 km long and extremely impressive. For those interested, entry to the fort on beautifully decorated elephants. Optionally, visiting the village of Sanganer, located near Jaipur, with many temples, including those of Krishna. In the evening, we invite you for treatments in the excellent hotel spa.

7 - 8 Jaipur – Jodhpur

Morning drive to Jodhpur - the Blue City, located on the border of the state and the Thar Desert. There are charming old blue houses and buildings here, which makes a great impression. In the evening, free time at the Umaid Bhawan Palace hotel. In the following days, the city tour will continue. In the evenings and mornings, the hotel offers many attractions prepared for guests, including wonderful massages and spa treatments, as well as yoga classes and polo.

9 Jodhpur – Udaipur

After breakfast, drive through the picturesque regions of Rajasthan to the city of lakes - Udaipur. It is one of the most charming cities in India, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Overnight at Taj Lake Palace, one of the most unique hotels in the world, located in the middle of the lake!

10 - 11 Udaipur

After breakfast, guests will begin a two-day tour of beautiful Udaipur. The main attraction is the City Palace, now an impressive museum. Guests will also visit the car museum, where most of the exhibits belonged to the maharajas of Udaipur. In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Pichola and dinner in the middle of the lake, with a breathtaking view of the city. On the second evening, we recommend an extraordinary experience - spa treatments on a boat and a dance performance in the hotel courtyard.

12 - 13 Udaipur – Mumbai

After breakfast, a private driver will take guests to the airport for their flight to Mumbai. We invite you to visit numerous monuments of the city, especially the Laxmi temple, the Gateway of India, the beautiful building of the main railway station, Flora's fountain and many other wonderful places. We also recommend a walk through the streets of old Bombay to see the cathedral and the oldest stalls where it is worth shopping. Overnight stay at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel.

14 - 17 May – Goa

After breakfast and check-out, accompanied by a private driver, guests will go to the Mumbai airport and fly to Goa. Rest in a luxurious hotel from the Luxury Travel offer, where they will spend 4 nights.

18 Goa

Check-out from the hotel and return flight to Poland.
