amanwana

Moyo Island, with an area of over 32. ha, this is a place where Mother Nature still exercises undivided control over the protected jungle. The island is surrounded by the turquoise Flores Sea, full of corals. The eco-friendly resort welcomes you to tents pitched between the rainforest and the shore. Guests will be delighted by the local flora and fauna on land and under water.

Diving expeditions and snorkeling trips will provide interesting encounters with nature (the Flores Sea and its reefs are among the best places for this in Indonesia). Many reefs are located very close to the shore. In the depths of the sea, you can find turtles, manta rays (i.e. sea devils), carans, reef sharks, fish from the ogatidae family, tunas, moray eels, stonefish and lionfish. Among the many diving sites, there are both deep and slightly shallower ones. Amanwana also organizes night trips.

The tropical forests hide various natural wonders: natural limestone pools, waterfalls and caves. Guests will learn the secrets of the jungle during hikes or trips in off-road vehicles. It is worth visiting, among others: Mount Amanwana, from which there is a beautiful view of the sea above teak trees, tamarind trees and fig trees. During mountain bike trips you can, if you are lucky, see monkeys, wild boars and many species of birds. Guests live in tents on foundations, with wooden walls, large windows and canvas roofs. Simple dishes prepared from the island's gifts are served in the restaurant overlooking the sea.

In the spa, in the shade of tamarind trees, specialists offer regenerating massages inspired by Indonesian traditions, sea salt peelings and milk baths.
