A postcard from the Himalayas – a tailor-made trip to Nepal.

It's hard to spot it on the map. Squeezed between huge India and even larger China, a country almost three times smaller than Poland, it is a real paradise for anyone who, hearing the phrase "holidays by the sea", yawns with boredom and looks longingly towards the nearest mountains. Of course, not only the greatest trekking enthusiasts should visit Nepal. The opportunity to observe the Himalayas from a plane, helicopter or swimming pool in a luxury hotel makes this country a wonderful memory for everyone who can appreciate the beauty of wild nature. And there is no shortage of this in Nepal. Whether it be a scenic flight over Everest, trekking around Annapurna or observing the habits of elephants in Chitwan National Park, you can be sure that Nepal will not disappoint you. If we add the UNSESCO cultural monuments, of which there are seven in the Kathmandu Valley alone, we have a country that every self-respecting traveler should visit sooner or later.

Almost all Nepal tours start in the capital. The Kathmandu Valley is full of fascinating cultural monuments. The temples and squares in Patan and Bhaktapur have been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Walking and light trekking in the Nagarkot area allows you to admire the impressive Himalayan range.

Pokhara is another point that every tourist visiting Nepal should mark in their guidebook. In the city inhabited by Gurung Buddhism, the main attraction is the Phewa Tal lake. However, the most interesting thing is outside Pokhara. Due to the proximity of the Himalayan massif, many trekking routes have been marked in the area. One of the most popular is the so-called "Annapurna Loop". It takes several weeks to cover all of it, but in just a few days I can give you an idea of the beauty of these areas. The Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhaphuchhare massifs towering over the area and the Kali Gandaki river gorge, considered by some to be the deepest canyon in the world, are a treat for photography and trekking enthusiasts.

Finally, it is worth mentioning a few less emblematic, but also noteworthy attractions. This is the kingdom of Mustang, located high in the mountains, to which foreigners were not allowed until 1991; the Trishuli River valley, on whose foamy waters and numerous rapids, exciting rafting trips are organized; Citwan National Park, covered with forests, swamps and river pools, ideal for observing wildlife. Species that can be found in Citwan include the Bengal tiger, Indian rhinoceros, mud crocodile and Ganges dolphin, also known as the "Indian dolphin".
