Trip plan:

1 Arrival in Kathmandu (K)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Luxury Travel guests will be greeted with flowers by our local attendant. From the airport he will take them to the selected hotel. After freshening up, guests are invited to visit traditional Newar villages - Bugmati and Khokana, places where time stopped a long time ago. As guests stroll through their streets, they will encounter master craftsmen carving wood and stone, offering masterfully crafted souvenirs from their travels. The Newars live by preserving the traditions passed down from grandfather to father. Guests will visit the Karya Binayak Temple, dedicated to the deity Ganesh Bungamati. The temple offers wonderful views of the surrounding area. On Saturdays, Newars meet here for a festival accompanied by music. Rato Machhendranath was born in Bungamati - whom the Navars consider to be the guardian deity of Patan - which is why his statue spends half the year in the market square in Bungamati, and the remaining half the year in the temple in Patan. Existing chapel (shikkara) in Bugamati was destroyed and the deity is currently watching its reconstruction from a temporary shelter. After returning, we invite guests on a rickshaw trip to the local craft market and then to the Thamel shopping district, which for fifty years has been attracting tourists to its narrow streets lined with shops of artists and craftsmen.

2 Kathmandu – Patan – Nagarkot (W, W)

After breakfast, guests will visit this Beautiful City - Lalitpur, whose modern name is Patan. It is believed that Patan was founded by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. A medieval urban layout has been preserved here, with historic houses rising above narrow streets, Buddhist and Hindu temples, stupas and a royal palace. The center of Patan - Patan Durbar Square - is one of the three main squares in the Kathmandu Valley, located opposite the royal palace. Many believe that the square and its surroundings are one of the most beautiful urban designs in the world. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

In the afternoon, we take the guests to Nagarkot - a popular, romantic city liked by tourists, offering from an altitude of 2175 meters above sea level not only romantic sunrises and sunsets, but above all a wonderful panorama of the eastern Himalayas - including Mt. Everest. After checking in at the hotel and freshening up, guests are invited to take an hour-long walk to the Nagarkot Tower to admire the sunset with views of the Himalayas and Everest, before returning to the hotel for dinner and the night.

3 Nagarkot – Bhaktapur – Bandipur (W, W)

On this day, after waking up early, guests have the opportunity to admire the sunrise over the Himalayas. After returning to the hotel, we will have breakfast and then set off for Bandipur, visiting Bhaktapur and its magnificent Bhaktapur Durbar Square on the way. The complex consists of four squares - Durbar Square proper, Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square and Ceramics Square. This entire area, along with the surrounding palaces and temples, is called Bhaktapur Durbar Square and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The most important monuments here include the Palace of 55 Windows, the Nyatapola Temple, and the wonderfully decorated Golden and Lion Gates. From Bhaktapur, guests reach Bandipur - where they can admire the beautiful traditional Newari architecture in a city that seems completely untouched by modern times. Below the city built on a hilltop, there is a wonderful open space of the Marsyanngdi River valley and the Himalayas rising above everything. We invite guests to explore this charming city, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

4 Bandipur – Pokhara (W, W)

After breakfast at the hotel, we go to Pokhara. The city was founded on an ancient trade route between China and India. After checking in at the hotel and freshening up, guests are invited to take a boat ride on Lake Fewa. The image of snow-covered mountain peaks rising above the calm depths creates a unique atmosphere of peace and magic.

After registering at the hotel, guests embark on an approximately hour-long trek to the World Peace Pagoda, which begins with an approximately half-hour wooden boat crossing across Lake Fewa. From the top, guests have the opportunity to admire the panorama of the Himalayas and the Pokhara valley.

5 Pokhara – Chitvan (W, O, W)

Early in the morning, before breakfast, we will take the guests to Sarangkot, from where they will be able to admire the sunrise illuminating the valleys and peaks of the Western Himalayas - including Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna IV (7525m), AnnapurnaIII (7555m), Machhaspuchere (6993m).

On the way to Chitvan, we will stop at the 17th-century Manakamana temple, dedicated to one of the incarnations of the goddess of birth, Parvati. The name Manakamana is a combination of the words "mana" - heart and "kamana" - meaning wish. The faithful believe that the goddess fulfills the beliefs of those who make a pilgrimage to her temple, built high on a hill. Guests will visit it using the cable car, the beginning of which is on the bank of the Trisuli River. After visiting the temple, we continue our journey to Chitwan. On site, we invite guests to an evening show of traditional dances and songs, then to dinner at the hotel, where they will stay for the next two nights.

6 Chitwan (W, O, F)

After breakfast, we invite guests for a full day of adventures in Chitwan National Park, which was established in 1973. It was the first national park established in Nepal. In 1984, with the adjective Royal in its name, it was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The park is one of the last habitats of the endangered Indian rhinoceros, Ganges gharial and Bengal tiger. The rich fauna of the park includes as many as 56 species of reptiles and amphibians, 68 species of mammals, and 544 species of birds. A dense jungle awaits our guests, who will have the opportunity to go on a safari on the backs of elephants, wander through the forest with a guide, looking for rare wild animals or observing birds. We return to the hotel for dinner.

7 Chitwan – Lumbini (W, O)

In the morning after breakfast, guests depart for Lumbini. It is one of the four holiest places in Buddhism. According to Buddhist tradition, Lumbini is the birthplace of Prince Siddhartha Gautama - Shakyamunim Buddha. According to legend, the pregnant queen Māyādevi, while traveling to her native kingdom of Devadaha, had to stop on the way to give birth to her child. She stopped in a grove, where, standing and holding on to the branches of a damask tree, she gave birth to a son. In the 1997rd century BC, Emperor Ashoka made a pilgrimage to Lumbini, erecting a column to commemorate his visit. An inscription has been preserved on it identifying Lumbini as the birthplace of Buddha. In XNUMX, Lumbini was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the evening, we invite you for dinner at the hotel.

8 Lumbini - Kathmandu (C)

After breakfast, return transfer from Lumbini to Kathmandu. On site, a representative of our office will take guests to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, from where they will fly home.
