Wild Coast Tented Lodge

Wild Coast Tented Lodge belongs to the prestigious Relais & Chateaux hotel group and is located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, close to the Yala National Park, famous for its leopards.

This unique project consists of 28 luxuriously furnished, air-conditioned tents in the African style, perfectly blending into the surrounding landscape thanks to the natural materials from which they are built. The layout of the tents refers to the paw print of a leopard, which is the most famous inhabitant of this area. For each of them with an area of ​​min. 55 m²In addition to the King bed, you can add two extra beds for children. A pleasant convenience is the minibar replenished daily and a wide selection of Ceylon Dilmah tea. The bathroom has a stylish copper bathtub, a shower and handmade cosmetics. The terrace, where you can hear the sound of the ocean, is equipped with a table, chairs and deckchairs. Four tents also have private swimming pools that make your stay more enjoyable.

The restaurant building was designed to reflect the boulders scattered on the golden beach. You can taste both classic and modern Sri Lankan cuisine, and the menu changes every day to diversify the already creative dishes. We also recommend an evening cocktail while watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean.

The Lodge has prepared a wide range of activities such as safari tours in Yala National Park, cultural trips to the temple at Kataragama and the ancient Sithulpawwa monastery, guided walks, bird watching, afternoon tea in the jungle and guided bike tours to the small town of Kirinda.
