Who is Koh Pangan for?

Koh Phangan is located approximately 10 km north of Koh Samui. The easiest way to get to the tram is by ferry or motorboat. Phangan is almost half the size of Samui, more intimate and aimed mainly at young tourists who like nightlife. The event that advertised the island practically all over the world is the Fool Moon Party - a series of all-night events held once a month on the Hat Rin beach, which can gather up to several thousand people. There are plenty of bungalows and hotels in the area to suit virtually every budget, as well as restaurants serving international and local cuisine and typical fast food. The northern part of the island is characterized by a sleepier climate typical of fishing villages. The most beautiful beach on the island - Thong Nai Pan - is also located there. Also worth visiting is Than Sadet - an impressive waterfall located in the middle of the rainforest.

Snorkeling on Koh Phangan

Although there are plenty of good diving and snorkeling spots around Koh Samui and Phangan, if you want to fully appreciate the underwater beauty, you should go to Koh Tao, an island located 40 km northwest of Phangan. Beautiful reefs, high water transparency, abundance of marine flora and fauna, as well as deserted beaches make Koh Tao attract more tourists every year, but it has still not lost its natural character and lazy atmosphere. In Mea Hat, the only town on the island, there are several diving centers organizing trips for experienced and beginner divers. Another interesting place is Koh Nang Yuan - a miniature archipelago of islands connected by sandy causeways located off the coast of Koh Tao. Azure water, golden sand and lush green vegetation make Nang Yuan's beaches often considered the most beautiful in the world.

If you are looking for sandy beaches, beautiful weather, always smiling people and great food, Thailand may be the perfect choice - Ko Samui or Ko Phangan are islands that will meet the expectations of even the most demanding guests looking for unforgettable moments.
