Lilas Barge is a 2017 m long luxury river barge launched in 39 in the Belmond fleet. Its designers were inspired by the design philosophy known as Biophilia, a design approach that brings the outside world into the interior space. Combining rustic wood and handcrafted details with a color palette reflecting the hues of the lilac (for which it is named), the soothing atmosphere of the Belmond brand is felt everywhere on the barge. Lilas Barge has an open deck that creates the feel of a secret floating garden with a swimming pool surrounded by potted plants and handmade furniture. After a day of tasting organic wines, exploring medieval ruins or simply relaxing on deck, the four spacious cabins provide the perfect refuge for up to 8 passengers. Thanks to this, it offers a private experience combined with exclusive, personal service. Guests can enjoy lunch served al fresco in the open living room or sit down to an unforgettable dinner in the exquisite dining room. During a leisurely cruise through the canals of Alsace, you can go ashore to discover the charms of Strasbourg, taste beer in a medal-winning brewery and enjoy a delicious dinner in a renowned restaurant awarded in the Michelin Guide.
Cabins:
There are four cabins on board, one on the upper deck and the rest on the lower deck. The cabins are equipped with a large double bed or two separate beds (configured at the passengers' request), a desk with an armchair, a dressing room and wardrobes, as well as bathrooms with showers.
