Trips to the French Riviera – a classy holiday

The Côte d'Azur offers the best of the Mediterranean. It is a paradise for both luxury lovers and rustic lovers. The French Riviera stretches for over 130 km from the town of Cassis to the Italian border. The beautiful coastline, exclusive resorts and hotels, impressive vegetation, blooming lavender fields, stunning architecture, delicious Mediterranean cuisine and wonderful Provençal Rose wine are just a few of the advantages that make it worth choosing a dream vacation on the French Riviera.

What is worth visiting on the French Riviera? – Monte Carlo, Nice, Cannes, Saint Tropez, Cap Ferrat

Monako is a small principality worth visiting during your visit to the French Riviera. There you will see the famous casino, princely palace and changing of the guard in front of the palace. In addition, you can also shop in amazing boutiques, see the Prince of Monaco's car collection, and visit the aquarium and zoo. The best hotels for a holiday in Monaco are Hotel de Paris and Hermitage, which offer a heated seawater swimming pool and a 3* Michelin restaurant.

Nice is a historic city in France located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It is the fifth largest city in France with a population of 342 people. To get to know Nice, you should spend at least two days there. It is worth taking a walk along the famous Promenade des Anglais, seeing the Water Mirror Fountain, climbing the Castle Hill and tasting typical Provençal dishes in great restaurants. The beach in Nice is rocky and if you are looking for golden sand, it is better to go to the small, charming town of Beaulieu, located between Nice and Monte Carlo.

Until the beginning of the 19th century Cannes  was a small agricultural and fishing settlement. In the 30s, it was discovered and appreciated by the French and foreign, especially English, aristocracy, who built their sumptuous residences here. Today, the city is known around the world for its international film festival, luxury tourism and the yacht fair at the Palace of Festivals. In Cannes you can sunbathe and swim on the sandy beaches, which were created by bringing sand to the rocky shore. When going on holiday in Cannes, it is best to stay in a historic and famous hotel Carlton Palace.

Saint Tropez is a small town on the Côte d'Azur known above all thanks to a series of films about a gendarme with the unforgettable role of Louis de Funès. This is where you can meet most Hollywood stars in elegant beach clubs or in ultra-expensive and exclusive hotels such as La Reserve, Cheval Blanc or Byblos.

Grasse is a charming town on the French Riviera, called the world capital of perfumes. Since the 18th century, Grasse has been famous all over the world for its perfume industry and the fragrance compositions of the most famous cosmetics. It is in the Grasse area where flowers grow and are used to produce fragrances created by such luxury brands as Dior and Chanel. When visiting a Fragonard or Galimard perfume factory, visitors can take part in fragrance workshops and create their own unique eau de toilette.

Antibes, the former Greek Antipolis, located halfway between Nice and Cannes, is a famous swimming pool and recreation center on the Mediterranean Sea. The commune is inhabited by approximately 75 people. This charming Côte d'Azur town offers sea and mountain views, numerous sandy beaches, a pretty old town and a large yacht marina. Antibes is home to the Marineland water park. Its attractions include: an oceanarium with dolphins and orcas, a water park with slides, a mini zoo and a dinosaur park. The town of Antibes is located at the foot of the cape of the same name (Cap d'Antibes), which, like the Cap-Ferrat peninsula near Nice, is associated as an enclave of luxury, where numerous super yachts (units over 35 meters long. Both Cap Ferrat and and Cap D'Antibes are almost entirely filled with luxurious villas, exclusive summer residences, a marina with yachts and beautiful hotels. The most expensive hotel in Cap D'Antibes is Hotel du Cap and the most exclusive hotel in Cap Ferrat is Four Seasons Grand-Hotel du Cap- Ferrat
