Istoria, a Member of Design Hotels

On the eastern coast of the picturesque Greek island of Santorini, there is a picturesque place where the volcanic sands of the beach are washed by the blue waters of the Aegean Sea. This is Perivolos beach, which is located away from the main tourist centers. A part of it is reserved exclusively for guests of the exclusive Istoria, a Member of Design Hotels, inviting people over 14 years of age. You can use sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, and snacks and drinks are available. The Istoria Hotel itself impresses with its eclectic interiors combining rustic elements, such as wood and terracotta, with modern equipment.

The interesting style was created by the Athenian company Interior Design Laboratorium and blends harmoniously with the surroundings. Each room in the Istoria Hotel is named in a different language (all the names mean "history"), is spacious (at least 38-40 sq m), has a comfortable living area and a terrace, and the bedroom has a king-sized bed. Some rooms at Istoria Hotel also have a heated swimming pool or jacuzzi, depending on the type, their windows face the sea (side or direct view possible) or the courtyard.

Contemporary Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, including island specialties and delicious seafood, is prepared in the hotel restaurant by Mr. E chef Alexandros Tsiotinis, who gained experience in famous restaurants, also awarded with Michelin stars. Spa treatments are based on products from the famous Ila brand, as well as a variety of ecological and local therapeutic ingredients.
