Al-Andalus

The sleeper cars that now form part of the Al Andalus luxury tourist train were built in France for the use of members of the British monarchy as they traveled from Calais to the French Riviera. Together with the lounge cars built in the same era, they create a train in which you can still feel the atmosphere of the Belle Epoque, its unrivaled comfort and elegance. In the interiors of Al Andalus, original finishing details and equipment that make each carriage a unique classic carriage are harmoniously combined with the latest technological achievements, thanks to which travelers can enjoy maximum comfort, safety and 21st century amenities.

Al Andalus is the largest luxury tourist train in the world, boasting four real gems - spacious and exquisite lounge cars that were built in France between 1929 and 1930 by the Wagon-Lits Co., and before setting off on their journey as Al. Andalus have been restored to their original, stunning appearance. For the duration of the journey, Al Andalus will become a living room, a meeting place, a bar, a bedroom for guests: a unique hotel on the tracks where guests wake up every day in a new, exciting place. The landscape outside the window of a private compartment or lounge where guests enjoy coffee is never the same. This simple fact makes traveling on a luxury train unique and unlike any other experience.

Compartments:

• 20 Deluxe apartments with an area of 9.9 m², with double beds, mini-bar, safe, cupboard and full bathroom (some can be supplemented with a third bed);
• 12 Grand Class Room Suites with an area of 8 m², with two beds, a safe, a cabinet and a spacious bathroom.

The Al Andalus train consists of 7 beautifully restored sleeping cars, five of which are original Wagon-Lits from 1929. All compartments are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning. Stewards are available at all times. During the day, the beds can be folded into comfortable sofas (note: upon guests' request, the staff will fold the beds), transforming the compartment into a private, luxurious living room. Deluxe Apartments can also be referred to as Superior and Grand Class as Standard.
