The second largest island in the archipelago is Gozo, which travelers can easily get to by ferry. The mighty sea and unique rock formations have created unique places such as the Wied il-Mielah window, the Inner Sea - a salt lake slightly connected to the Mediterranean Sea, or the so-called Blue Hole, a fantastic and unique underwater cave diving site.

In Gozo there is also an extremely interesting archaeological site of Ggantija, where one of the oldest buildings in the world is located - mysterious megalithic temples included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Another interesting attraction are the Xwejni salt pans, where the locals get their salt.
