Andermartt, a popular ski resort in Switzerland

Andermatt is a picturesque village located 1444 m above sea level, at the foot of the St. Massif. Gotthard. The region is known for its waterfalls, gorges and lakes, making it perfect for trekking. In winter, it becomes one of the most popular resorts in Switzerland. Lovers of winter sports can enjoy 180 km of well-prepared slopes around the Disentis and Sedrun peaks, the Oberalp Pass and the Nätschen ski area.

The rooms and suites at The Chedi Andermatt are elegant, decorated with dark wooden elements and contrasting, soft colors. All of them are at least 52 sq m, each with its own fireplace. The bathrooms were designed inspired by Asian architecture.

The luxury hotel in Switzerland, The Chedi Andermatt, is also known for its excellent cuisine. It was awarded the Hotel of the Year 2017 by GaultMillau. The main restaurant of the facility received 14 GaultMillau points and specializes in Asian and European cuisine, accompanied by excellent wine or cheese from the 5 m high cellar. The second restaurant is a Japanese restaurant with 1 Michelin star and 17 GaultMillau points, which serves delicious sushi and sashimi and has the largest selection of sake in Switzerland.

Another restaurant, The Japanese by The Chedi Andermatt (1 Michelin star, 15 GaultMillau points), located at 2300 meters above sea level, combines an impressive view of the Andermatt Mountains with the highest Japanese culinary art. In the highest situated Japanese restaurant in Switzerland, the renowned chefs of The Twins - Dominik Sato and Fabio Toffolon, and their experienced team prepare the highest quality Japanese dishes, and during a visit to the restaurant you can admire the view of the Gotthard Pass, the Oberalp Pass and the Urseren Valley.

Relaxation at the Andermatt Hotel is facilitated by the spa covering an area of ​​2400 sq m. and offering, among others: large swimming pool and saunas. Many treatments are inspired by Asian traditions.
