Trip plan:

2 Etna

A wonderful private tour with a Polish-speaking guide was planned for this day. After breakfast, the driver will take guests to Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe. Volcanic ashes are extremely fertile, which is why there are many orange and lemon plantations and vineyards on the slopes of the mountain. Then, an extraordinary "wine flowing" journey awaits guests to the best vineyards of Etna: Graci, Passopisciaro, Russo, famous for their red wines. The trip includes a tour of the vineyards with tasting and a special treat - lunch at the Palmento restaurant, where unique dishes prepared from fresh Sicilian products are served. After lunch, the guide will show guests the charming villages near Etna (Aci Trezza, Aci Castello, Adrano, Bronte, Zafferana Etnea).

3 Caltagirone

Accompanied by a personal driver and a Polish guide, guests will go to the town of Caltagirone. On the way, stop near Piazza Armerina and visit Villa del Casale, which is one of the most interesting monuments in Sicily. Before lunch, a walk through the charming streets of Caltagirone. Lunch in a unique place, undoubtedly the Coria restaurant, also recommended by the Michelin guides. Then free time.

4 Syracuse

After breakfast, private tour to Syracuse. In the 200th century BC, Syracuse was considered the most beautiful, richest and most populous city on the island (about XNUMX inhabitants), with two ports (trade and war) that ensured control over the eastern part of Sicily. Cicero described it as "the greatest Greek city and the most beautiful of all." They later became part of the Roman Republic and the Byzantine Empire. Due to its valuable monuments, Syracuse is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. For lunch, we recommend the Porta Marina restaurant, located in a XNUMXth-century tenement house on one of the narrow streets of the medieval district on the islet of Ortygia. It serves excellent dishes combining tradition with refined modern cuisine. Guests will also visit the archaeological park with the ruins of a temple and a theater, as well as a quarry, called the Ear of Dionysus due to its unusual acoustics. There will be time to visit wonderful boutiques and do some shopping.

5 Taormina

Half-day private tour of Taormina, the pearl of Sicily, one of the most popular resorts on the island. The town enchants with its picturesque location on a hill, beautiful squares, charming streets, fragrant gardens and wonderful views of the sea and mountains. The most important monuments of Taormina include the well-preserved Greek theater and the castle located above the city. In the afternoon, free time for further sightseeing and shopping in elegant boutiques.

6 Catania

Check-out from the hotel and transfer to the airport in Catania. The price of the event depends on the number of participants, departure date and hotel availability.
