Xcaret Park, Mexico

Xcaret Park is a real paradise for families with children and a real treasure trove of attractions for the youngest. The hotel's offer includes a wide range of activities organized for little adventurers and nature lovers.

One of the biggest attractions of Xcaret Park is Children's World, a large and varied playground intended for children under 12 years of age. This place consists of hanging bridges, tunnels, water slides, climbing nets and obstacle courses that encourage hours of fun and develop imagination. Its stunning surroundings, especially picturesque ones, deserve special attention cenotes. Children's World also has plenty of attractions for children under 6 years of age. Little ones have access to a paddling pool, a sandbox and specially designed water jets. While children are having carefree fun, parents can relax in the rest area without taking their eyes off their children. There is also a small shop on site where you can buy a variety of snacks.

The butterfly house and the aviary are places especially recommended for animal lovers. The first one is located in a spacious pavilion open from morning to afternoon. It is an appropriately landscaped area inhabited by over 20 local species of butterflies, including one highly valued by the Mayan civilization. A small part of the pavilion is devoted to presenting and explaining the butterfly's life cycle. The aviary is home to 1500 species of Mexican birds and colorful and graceful macaws. An additional attraction is the coral reef aquarium, where over 5000 marine organisms live. It is equipped with a special water pumping system that allows you to create an ideal environment for a small coral reef. The undisputed king among underwater creatures is the sea turtle. An interesting fact is that Xcaret Park is working on a program to protect sea turtles living along the coast of Mexico. The second king, this time living on land, is the majestic jaguar. It was in his honor that Jaguar Island was created, where you can observe this wild cat walking among the trees. With a bit of luck, children will have the opportunity to see a black puma crouching in one of the shady corners of the island. Xcaret Park also has a flamingo zone, monkey island, bat cave, deer shelter and tapir territory. All these places will allow children to thoroughly learn about the local fauna and flora.

Families with children, especially those who focus on active recreation, will certainly be delighted with the Adventure Kids program. One of its key points is the memorable experience of snorkeling in a safe environment using life jackets. Thanks to modern Snuba® technology, both children and parents can swim freely underwater while the oxygen tanks remain above the water line. This interesting combination of diving and snorkeling will be the perfect ending to your family vacation.
